Appointments

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, how you contact us will be different at the moment. We ask that if possible you contact the practice by phone rather than in person, this is to limit face-to-face contact wherever possible and help stop the spread of Covid-19.

However we would like to reassure patients that the practice is open as normal and if you need to see your GP then please telephone 020 7730 7030 to make an appointment. If you need to see a GP then a telephone consultation will be arranged for you first so that you may be appropriately triaged. If you need to be seen the GP will give you a face to face appointment at the practice. Therefore please do not come to the surgery unless you have been asked to come in by a member of the practice team.

Appointments are being delivered face-to-face, online and over the telephone. If you are asked to come into the surgery for a face to face appointment, please remember to wear a face covering and maintain social distance from other people. Measures are in place to keep you safe from infection during your visit to the surgery so we ask that you please follow any guidelines given by the staff.

We apologise for any inconvenience but kindly ask for your understanding at this time as these precautions are in place for everyone's safety.

PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE PRACTICE IF YOU THINK YOU MAY BE SUFFERING FROM CORONAVIRUS SYMPTOMS. This includes

  • A New Continuous Cough (this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours - if you usually have a cough it may be worse than usual)

  • High Temperature (Your back and/or check feel hot to the touch)

  • Loss or change to your sense of taste and or smell

Please visit https://111.nhs.uk/service/covid-19 or call NHS 111 for advice or when the practice is closed

To make an appointment, please call 0207 730 7030. You may also book telephone appointments online with SystmOnline - read more here

  • You may be asked to give some details of your illness for prioritising in an emergency.
  • If circumstances make it impossible for you to attend the surgery, please contact us as soon as you can and we can arrange for a home visit.
  • If you wish to cancel your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible.
  • If you are unwell and we are not open, please see the advice on our 'When we are closed' page here.

If you think that your problem will take longer than the routine 10 minutes with a doctor (15 minutes with a nurse) to discuss, or you have several unrelated problems, please let the receptionist know so that a longer appointment may be made. Try to see the same doctor to follow-up on a particular problem.

Always remember to cancel an unwanted appointment as it may be needed by another patient.

Chaperones

Our practice is committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment where patients and staff can be confident that best practice is being followed at all times and the safety of everyone is taken into account.

All patients are entitled to have a chaperone present for any consultation, examination or procedure where they feel one is required. This chaperone may be a family member or friend. On occasions you may prefer a formal chaperone to be present, i.e. a trained member of staff.

Wherever possible we would ask you to make this request at the time of booking your appointment so that arrangements can be made and your appointment is not delayed in any way. Where this is not possible we will endeavour to provide a formal chaperone at the time of request. However, occasionally it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment.

Your GP or nurse may also require a chaperone to be present for certain consultations in accordance with our chaperone policy.

If you would like to see a copy of our Chaperone Policy or have any questions or comments regarding this, please contact the Practice Manager.

Medical Education

Sometimes we have medical students from Imperial College at the Practice as an important part of their training. We hope you will allow them to practice examinations under supervision, but you can of course ask them to leave if you prefer.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
